Optimizing Column Width 

Procedure

To optimize column width – that is, to tailor column width to the column entries, proceed as follows:

  1. Right-click the selected column.
  2. Choose Optimize width.

Alternatively:

Double-click the separator between two column headings. The system optimizes the width of the left-hand column.

Alternative Procedure in Full-Screen Mode

If you are working in full-screen mode, you can also use the menus to execute the function:

  1. Select a column.
  2. Choose Settings ® Columns ® Optimal width.
